Labour Relations Officer

Our client, a government organization is looking for the Labour Relations Officer to join their team.

Duties

  • Check and verify the proper operation of the Access Control and Recording System
  • Conduct checking of the records submitted by contractors
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on the payment of wages and MPF contribution and the daily records which based on the Wage Books prepared by contractors
  • Conduct random inspection on site to verify the identity of workers and to promote effective communication with workers
  • Be responsible for receiving complaints from workers on any matters relating to the payment of wages and other employment conditions
  • Check the validity of the complaints based on the compiled records
  • Provide all necessary assistance to the workers for referring the complaint cases to the Labour Department if neccessary and work in collaboration with the Labour Department to investigate and verify the validity of the complaints

Qualifications

  • A combination of results in five HKDSE subjects including 4 core subjects of Level 2 in NSS subjects, or 5 subjects including Chinese, English and Mathematics in HKCEE
  • Good knowledge and experience of the operation and practices of the construction industry is preferable
  • 2 years' full time working experience on personnel management or human resources related duties or Post-secondary qualification in human resources or personnel management is preferable
  • Well versed to HKEO & relevant labour legislation
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
  • Hands on experience in using MS Office application and Chinese word processing
