Assistant Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the team head to formulate procurement strategy
  • Manage the impact of costs, inventory, and monitor suppliers performance to ensure compliance with quality and regulations
  • Plan and develop procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the company’s requirements
  • Prepare budget planning, cost analysis and cost control
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and related procurement activities
  • Fulfill and maintain the requirements of ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • Handle ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in procurement or related discipline
  • At least 5 years working experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing industry
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Passed in Japanese Proficiency Test - N1 is highly preferred
  • Good communication, analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle multi-tasks with strong problem solving & supervisory skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
  • Immediate available is preferred
