Project Manager- Procurement (12 Months Contract, Global bank, Up to 70K)

Key deliverables:

  • Provide Project Management oversight to the Procurement and Expenses workstream; adhere to agreed timeline for delivery
  • Provide P2P SME knowledge and input to the Programme and key stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress to plan, building confidence in delivery
  • Coordinate Master Data cleansing, enrichment and Supplier integration activities across all initiatives
  • Support and implement global Procurement Design alignment, facilitating the delivery of identified changes to global procurement design, ensuring change is solely for regulatory/tax purposes
  • Provide support to ensure Business Readiness for Procurement as well as Senior Procurement stakeholders
  • Support the team to bring suppliers onto the Supplier Network, providing communications, and providing engagement touch points
  • Provide P2P SME knowledge and input to Programme and key stakeholders
  • Support the Manager and the workstream with the Supplier Network service to ensure successful deployment globally and support transition of ownership to the business
  • Provide post Go Live support / coordinate hypercare activities and be responsible for Issue log management

 

For this role you will have:

  • Effective planning and project management skills
  • Experience of working in large, complex, multi-functional programmes is essential
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of deploying P2P systems
  • Experience of working with and managing Software Integrators
  • Knowledge of P2P process
  • Experience of working with a Supplier Network (Tradedshift, Ariba or Coupa)
  • Effective communicator with the ability to integrate well into a team and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • The ability to work with a diverse and geographically dispersed business teams
  • Experience of building relationships with technology and design teams
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities
  • Effective influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills to all levels
  • Tight organisational and time management skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Creative approach to problem solving and outcome focused approach
  • A highly motivated, flexible and pro-active self-starter with a positive attitude

 

Technical Experience

  • Prince 2 or equivalent
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use process mapping tools e.g. Visio
  • Experience of building plans with Ms Project
  • Strong experience of working on ERP systems
