Assistant Business Development Manager (5-day work, double pay)

Our client is a shipping company with strategically placed offices and agency networks in Asia, Europe, Latin America.


  • Explore potential customers to develop business opportunities
  • Compile customer target list in close cooperation with manager
  • Monitor results/progress of business development on a regular basis
  • Review with other departments regularly to improve process efficiency/productivity
  • Manage a team for sales support and follow up customers’ requests/complaints
  • Qualify potential sales leads and conduct daily sales visit
  • Perform ad hoc projects assigned by the management


  • Degree holder in Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in freight forwarding
  • Good knowledge of Europe and Intra Asia ocean freight market
  • Customer oriented with ability to establish strong relationship and interact effectively with customers
  • Proactive, aggressive and result oriented
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
